Faculty Resource Guide
Welcome to the Center for Educational Access (CEA), the central campus resource for facilitating campus access for students with disabilities, chronic health, and/or temporary limitations! As a U of A faculty, instructor, or TA, you play a key role in removing barriers to the academic environment and promoting access for students with disabilities. Proactive course development can help reduce or eliminate the need for accommodations, save time and energy, and provide better usability for all students.
The links on the left-side navigation is intended to provide more in-depth faculty guidance on facilitating accommodations, creating accessible course content, and working with students with disabilities. Please refer back to this site often as we continue to develop additional resources for faculty.
If there is specific information you want to be included, please feel free to contact the CEA office at ada@uark.edu or 479-575-3104! CEA staff are also available to the campus community for consultation and presentations on disability related topics.
